A shot of Juliette.
Yep. The same Juliette where the movie was filmed. And The Whistle Stop Cafe? Where they eat the fried green tomaotes? Yep. I ate there. They opened the cafe up for our group and had a special dinner prepared.

Me and my friend Sally in The Whistle Stop Cafe.
The whole town was wonderful. I highly recommend visiting for the shopping and for the delicious food at The Whistle Stop Cafe. And oh.my.goodness. The fried green tomatoes? They were AMAZING. Now all I have to do is see the film.

You MUST see this movie, if only to see this scene in context:
[Evelyn is cut off in a parking lot]
Evelyn Couch: Hey! I was waiting for that spot!
Girl #1: Face it, lady, we're younger and faster!
[Evelyn rear-ends the other car six times]
Girl #1: What are you *doing*?
Girl #2: Are you *crazy*?
Evelyn Couch: Face it, girls, I'm older and I have more insurance.
Eh, actual edible fried green tomatoes are way better than the movie. But I'm sure you'll catch it on TBS some rainy Saturday afternoon, nevertheless.
It's a good movie, but we'll definitely have to go eat at the Whistle Stop Cafe!
It's a great movie - you have to see it. And then you will feel even cooler that you were at the Whistle Stop Cafe - very fun!!
i sure hope you've seen the film by now.
i really liked it when i saw it about ten years ago - but i think i would like it even more now that i'm older.
